First Steps

To turn Paperphone on, click the on/off button in the upper right hand corner and turn up the Master Volume just below the on/off button.

At this point, you should hear your microphone signal through the speakers or headphones. The output volume meter next to the master volume represents the strength of the signal coming out of Paperphone. The red light on the volume meter indicates clipping. If you see this light come on you may want to turn down the master volume.

Turn on effects by pressing the grey square buttons with the effect names. You can combine two effects. Effect one always feeds effect two. Each effect responds to the sliders at the bottom of the screen. The effect mix knob controls the amount of effect you will hear. Dry will pass the input without effect, wet will pass only the effected sound.
